DATA-DOG asked,
' ...Who photo-shopped the other one?'
That hurt!
with all the buzz about the jw public witnessing cart it has escaped the notice of all but the most studious researchers that the wt carts were actually started by pastor charles taze russell.
a careful examination of one of the most famous photographs of the 1906 san fransisco fire, caused by the preceding earthquake, reveals a wt cart.
further investigation brought the researchers attention to bible student sister myrtle jenson, shown on the left of the photograph, and facing away from the camera, looking down sacramento street.

'In what publication is this sister's experience related? How many years later did she recount it? From what source did you acquire a copy of the photograph? The cart looks very modern and could pass for a current cart raising a question about photo-shopping.
Really? In keeping with the Watchtower Society's tendency toward 'historical adjustments' I see nothing strange or unusual about this photograph. As for Sister Jenson's recounting of events, it evidently would appear that she did make such a statement.

Miss Jenson is the woman in the light coat at the center of the group of ladies on the left of the photograph. Miss Jenson only left her cart unattended for a short time, to view the fire. She immediately returned to her cart duties, but not before inviting all the fellow onlookers to come back and 'take life's waters free', namely brochures explaining the Studies in the Scriptures written by Pastor Russell.
Years later, when questioned about her experience that day she recounted, ' ...oh my, what a day that was. I think I placed hundreds of brochures. Of course I could never have done it without the earthquake. I guess I was just lucky that day. I was hoping Armageddon had come but it was not to be. Too bad, too bad...'
don't know how to do a link but................ video just posted on you-tube called hypocrisy@ bethel by jwfairytail.
he calls bethel several times about the happy@ bethel.
it last like an hour and a half.
JWFT definitely puts their 'feet to the fire' and keeps them answering and excusing and justifying over and over again. Though his presentation may not suit everyone, who on this forum has even contacted Bethel headquarters and asked anything, anytime? My guess is that if you have it has been with timidity and hesitation. JWFT shows 'righteous indignation' and with that weapon few can stand.

so i just watched the singing cart video.
i literally cannot describe how i felt watching that.. growing up as a jw was serious business.
we had to take the preaching work seriously, watch our conduct, give a good witness by our actions, and be on our best behaviour to ensure we made it through the great tribulation.. when i was a child, i had dreams of being a cartoonist.
you must see the musical video at the end of this month program (aprox.
at 1:04:30).... i don't like to use "must" but this is wow... if you think they couldn't get any lower... just be prepared...
"....what a feeeeeling, to go wheeeeeeling,...
I'm so glad to be a public witness caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaart..."
im kinda mad, its hard to shake off the look of that little girls face...standing in someones basement, scared.. why the hiding?
if these people werent in this basement, would they be killed?
all them years of studying and being loyal, and its come to this.......being scared in a basement....all bad !
